Easter, a time for relaxing, socialising with friends and family and indulging in as much chocolate as you can muster! We have been pro-active here at Adcore Creative, working on a new website and promotional pieces which we hope to bring you over the next month or so, phew.

Rendezvous Grand Hotel Melbourne | Centenary Year Celebrations

Above: Beth from Adcore Creative with Richard Brewster Author of the History Book at Rendezvous 100th year celebrations. Rendezvous Grand Hotel Melbourne celebrated their 100th year last Thursday and we were lucky enough to be a part of it. Rendezvous has been a client of ours for 5 years now and this year we were asked to design a history book documenting the development of the hotel. We are very pleased with end result.

The University of Melbourne | Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences brochure

Prior to Christmas, we were commissioned to produce a 6 page fold out brochure for The University of Melbourne; detailing their history in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences. The timeframe was fairly tight, we designed, produced and printed the document within a couple of weeks. 

With a substantial amount of content and the request to include a timeline, the challenge was on to design a brochure which was easy to follow whilst following their corporate brand guidelines. Our client was extremely happy with the end result and the quick turnaround.

What we have been up to

Recently we were assigned to design a logo and product brochure for Quartztone12 under the United Melbourne Stone brand. The client required the brochure to have clean lines with an air of quality and opulence whilst showcasing their unique Quartzstone12 range in swatch form. Above is what we came up with, we are extremely happy with the result.

With only four weeks til Christmas (hasn't this year flown!), it has come time again for us to start designing our Adcore Christmas card. Whilst looking for inspiration I came across some unique cards that I wanted to share with you. 

Rodney Dekker

Rodney Dekker is a photographer and video producer who predominantly covers environmental and social justice issues.

For the past three years we have worked with Rodney and the RACV to produce their Community Foundation Annual Review. It is a very exciting project to be a part of. The RACV Community Foundation has made a positive difference in the lives of many Victorians. 

Rodney does a beautiful job in capturing these lives. These images were taken for the 2011 Annual Review.

We are currently working on the 2012 Community Foundation Annual Review and once again Rodney has produced some incredible and captivating images. We can’t wait to share them with you!

Inspiration I Beci Orpin

Semi-Permanent time in Melbourne again!

Semi-Permanent is design conference which covers all disciplines of design, including graphic design, film, fine art, illustration, web design, interaction design, photography, visual effects, animation, graffiti, motion graphics, stop motion, and architecture, and much more.

Melbourne artist / illustrator / designer extraordinaire Beci Orpin is one of this years guest speakers. She experiments with shapes, textures and colours to create unique and beautiful designs. Her work is truly inspiring.
